Pearl E. Young

Pearl E. Young, 69, of Middletown, died Monday, September 20, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Jackson, Kentucky on April 27, 1941 to parents Simeon and Caroline (Harvey) Young.

Mr. Young worked as a tinsman, retiring from Blacon Industries in 1998. He served his country in the National Guard and was a member of the Church of God in Jesus.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Oaks) Young; two sons, Shannon Young and Ernie (Kasey) Young; brothers, Robert Young, Sim (Gail) Young, Paul (Patty) Young and Lowell (Mabel) Young; sisters, Hazel Howard, Mazel Combs, Dorothy Hardin and Lillie (Raliegh) Shepard; and grandchildren, Zack & Sidney Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Homer & Willie Young; and sisters, Bessie Young, Helen Faye MacIntosh and Arizona Noble.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Arnold Brewer officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the service, 9:00 – 10:00 am, on Saturday. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Pearl's memory to the Church of God in Jesus, 5604 West Alexandria Rd., Middletown, Ohio 45042.
