Pennie LaRae Halcomb, 59, of Centerville, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 30, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born in Middletown on September 9, 1957 to parents G.W. and Betty (McCaffrey) Halcomb.
Pennie was a graduate of Madison High School in West Middletown. Previously, Pennie worked for Lexis Nexis, where she gave 10 years of service. In most recent years, Pennie worked for PNC Bank, where she gave 6 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, taking care of her beloved dog Bo, but will especially be remembered for her love of being a mother to her three children.
Pennie's beautiful life will forever be cherished by her family members. She is survived by two daughters, Chloe (Brian) Heinbaugh, age 32 of Centerville & Claire Robbins, age 29 of Cincinnati; a son, Collin Robbins, age 18 of Centerville; mother, Betty Halcomb of Middletown; two brothers, Michael (Teri) Halcomb & Tony Halcomb, both of Middletown; a sister, Ginger (Joe) Kirby of Springboro; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, G.W. Halcomb (May 12, 2014).
The family of Pennie would like to extend their sincere thanks to all of her doctors and nurses at Miami Valley Hospital Cancer Center, University of Cincinnati Hospital, and Hospice of Dayton.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
