Peter M. Fisher

Peter M. Fisher, 93, of Monroe, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant. He was born in Middletown on October 1, 1924 to parents Joseph and Lucy (Berderka) Fisher.

Peter had worked as a repairman for Ohio Bell, later AT&T, for 37 ½ years, retiring in 1983. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Josephine (Vitori) Fisher; sons, Thomas (Teresa) Fisher & Larry Fisher; daughter, Mary Ann Fisher (Phillip) Huculak; brother, Edward Fisher; sister, Mary Kehr; and grandchildren, Alex Fisher, James Fisher, Michael Fisher, Joseph Fisher, Olivia Huculak, Benjamin Huculak & Lexie Brewer. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Fisher; parents; sisters, Betty Welsh & Josephine Orth; and brothers, Paul, Frank, Joseph, William & John Fisher.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
