Phyllis J. Neumann

Phyllis J. Neumann, 76, of Middletown, died Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on March 9, 1936 to parents Bert and Lola (Powell) Mastin.

Phyllis worked as a teacher at Edgewood High School for 32 years, retiring in 1990.

Mrs. Neumann is survived by her husband, James Neumann; brother, Tim (Connie) Mastin; sister, Janice (Bud) Parks; and numerous nieces, nephews & other loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Mastin; and sister, Pat Christopher.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Powells Valley Cemetery in Clay City, Kentucky on Thursday morning.
