Prudie Smith

Prudie Smith, 82, of Fairfield Township, died Thursday, February 20, 2003 at Birchwood Care Center. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on October 30, 1920 to parents John T. and Martha (Wombles) Wagers.

Prudie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Andrew M. Smith of Fairfield Township; three sons Andrew Smith of Hamilton, John Wayne (Jessie) Smith, and Michael Ray (Penny) Smith, both of Conyers, GA; five daughters Alpha (Clarence) Frazier of Trenton, Coralee (Roger) Gang of Tampa, FL, Alma (Arnold) Hayes, Sally (Chester) Walters, and Janet (Don) Wells all of Conyers, GA; a sister Ellen (Olen) Lynch of Fountain City, IN; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers George Wagers and Rollo Wagers.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 11:45 AM at Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel, 2421 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Entombment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
