Ray C. Collins, 83, of Monroe, died Saturday April 16, 2005 at his residence. Ray was born April 10, 1922 in Grainger Idle, Tennessee to parents Clell and Cornnie (Parker) Collins.

Ray retired from NCR after 30+ years, he was a veteran of WWII, he loved fishing, Children, and playing cards.

He is survived by his 4 Children, Dutch Collins of Miamisburg, Betsy Collins of Middletown, Don Collins of Lakengren, and Jennifer Collins of Monroe. Ray is also survived by a sister Gladys Griffith of Franklin, 2 grandchildren Jenny Reamen and Jeff Collins both of Dayton, and great grandson Parker Reamen, and a niece Tami McKinney.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann Collins in 1993, his parents, a sister Beatrice Bowles, and brothers Paris, Clellon, and Merle Collins.

Funeral services will be held at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home on Tuesday April 19, 2005 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Jim Kinser officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11:30 AM at the funeral Home.
