Raymond Jackson Lykins, 80, of Middletown, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 23, 1932 to parents George and Beulah (Burgher) Lykins.
Raymond served in the United States Army and retired from Armco Steel after 30 years as a crane operator retiring in 1992. He was also a part of the Armco Stars square dancing unit.
Mr. Lykins is survived by his daughters, Lori (Jerry) Henning, Edith Michelle Adams, Leslie A. (Jay) Colliver; brothers, Jerry Lykins, David Lykins; sisters, Ruby Brewer, Margaret (Fred) Duff; grandchildren, Whitney Henning, Joseph Henning, Alex Adams, Sidney Adams, Cody (Jenna) Colliver and Courtney Colliver.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and a son John W. Lykins.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday January 22 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Steve Elkins officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service from 11-12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
