Raymond Martin Murphy

Raymond Martin Murphy, 87, of Liberty Township, died on Thursday, March 20, 2003, at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Home. He was born in Warren County, Ohio on June 28, 1915 to William J. and Rose (Kettman) Murphy.

Mr. Murphy worked as a farmer and was a member of the Monroe Grange. He was also a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Raymond is survived by, his wife, Carolyn (Guenthner) Murphy; two sons: David Gary Murphy of Monroe, and James William (Stephanie) Murphy of Germantown; one sister: Helen Schultheiss of Monroe; and grandchildren, Robert & Julie Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 24, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe, OH, with Father Terry Meehan as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2003 from 10-11am at Our Lady of Sorrows. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery in Liberty Township.
