Raymond R. Caudill, 75, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2004, at Residence of Kensington Place. He was born in McRoberts, Kentucky on March 28, 1929.
Raymond was a 1947 graduate of Middletown High School. He was employed at G.C. Murphy, traveling from Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Minnesota, New York, and Maryland, and retiring in 1990. He served his country in the United States Army, was a member of the Centerville Masonic Rock Moriah Lodge #740 F. & A.M., and was active with the Middletown Parkinson’s Group. His hobbies included golf and bowling. He enjoyed being with his friends and family and was known as “always smiling”.
Mr. Caudill is survived by his loving wife, Stasia Caudill; one daughter, Annette Caudill of Middletown; one son, Terry (Pat) Caudill of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Harold (Cordelia) Caudill of Monroe, OH; two grandchildren, Jason & Christopher Caudill; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Greene Caudill; his mother, Clora (Pilkerton) Cooper; a brother, Ralph Caudill; sister Maxine Kelhoffer; and niece, Karen Feyler.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Residence of Kensington Place, Middletown Hospital, and Hospice of Dayton, that took such time and care with Raymond.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Reverend Bruce Powell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorial donations be made to Middletown Parkinson´s Support Group, 60 Scioto Circle, Monroe, OH 45050.
