Reda Mccartt

Reda McCartt, 81, of Madison Township, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky December 24, 1940 to parents, Osa and Nannie (Green) Barnett.

Reda devoted her time to making a loving home for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans for family and friends, cooking and each year tending to a garden with her husband.

Reda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Fred McCartt; sisters, Barbara Sue Baker, Jean (Luther) Ross & Sheila (Dennis) Barschow; brothers, Harold (Gertrude) Barnett & Larry (Freda) Barnett; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Phillip Barnett, Osa Lee Barnett, Jr. & David Michael Barnett.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Bobby Maggard officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Madison Township.
