Regina Bernadine Eckart

Regina Bernadine Eckart, 84, of Middletown, Ohio, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on May 3, 1919 to Daniel H. and Margaret (McClain) O´Linn.

Regina was a member of Holy Family Parish. She loved bingo, her Irish heritage and had a deep and abiding faith.

Regina is survived by her husband, Charles C. Eckart of Middletown; two daughters, Monica (James) Pruyn of Riverforest, IL, and Regina (Timothy) Long of Dallas, TX; four sons, Roger (Patty) Eckart of Mechanicsburg, OH, David P. Eckart of Marietta, OH, Michael O. Eckart of Middletown, OH, Mark (RoseAnne) Eckart of Middletown, OH; one sister, Mary Neader of Columbus, OH; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John J. Eckart, and an infant son, Richard Eckart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
