Reverend Doris J. Hill, 88, of Monroe, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Cedarville, Ohio on June 7, 1922 to parents Ralph John and Josephine (Orr) Hill.
Reverend Hill was a Presbyterian minister with pastorates in Springfield, Missouri, Valencia, Pennsylvania and Dayton, Ohio.
Miss Hill is survived by her sister, Mary Jean Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 2910 Central Ave., Middletown with Reverend L. Timothy Doty officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment in Cedarville, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Life Care Fund, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe, OH 45050.
