Richard F. Remsing

Richard F. Remsing, 68, of Middletown, died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at home. He was born in Molidorf, Yugoslavia on August 1, 1944 to parents Anton and Anna (Ceschan) Remsing.

Richard retired in 2001 from AK Steel where he was a systems analyst in human resourses. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and served his country in the United States Army. He was also a member of the Cincinnati Donauschwaben Society.

Mr. Remsing is survived by his wife, Jackie (Ellenburg) Remsing; sons, Matt (Courtney) Remsing, Mark (Amy) Remsing and Marty (Lori) Remsing; daughter, Mary (Mark) Reames; brother, Fred (Donna) Remsing and grandchildren: Ellie, Evan, Aiden, Addison, Tyler, Dylan, Cody and Carson.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
