Richard J. Frye, 69, of Monroe, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Syracuse, New York on August 18, 1941 to parents Leland and Anne (Johnson) Frye.

Richard served 20 years in the United States Air Force and worked as a project manager for NCR. He was a Past Master of Jefferson Lodge #90 F & AM and Past President of the Antioch Shrine.

Mr. Frye is survived by his wife, Brenda E. (Painter) Frye; two sons, Tim (Tina) Frye and Kevin (Lisa) Frye; sister, Patricia Frye; seven grandchildren, Caty, Anna, Timmy, Mason, Tanner, Madison & Max; and many other family & friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Susan Frye; and brother, William Frye.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:00 am at Church of the Ascension, 2709 McGee Ave., Middletown with the Reverend Elaine Caldbeck and Pastor Brian Straub officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH with Masonic Services at 4:30 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals For Children, 3229 Burnett Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095.
