Richard Brannaman: 80, passed away due to complications from Parkinson’s disease on Sunday February 4, 2018. He leaves behind his wife, of 11 years Patricia Combs; children Rick (Mary) of Miamisburg; Mike of Charlotte, NC; Brad (Ann) of Libertyville, IL; Cindy Urig (Joe) of Elyria, OH; his sisters Joann Dickman (Balston Lake, NY) and Dorothy Parker (Dayton) as well as his grandchildren Zachary, Chelsea, Eleanor, Virginia, Megan, Rachel, Ryan and Martin. He also leaves behind his extended family Debbie Daly (Joe); Jeff Combs (Leslie) of Liberty TWP; Mike Combs (Meg) of Roswell, GA; Andy Combs (Cheri) of Cincinnati.
Richard was an Electrical Engineer at Armco for 31 yrs. That job took him all over the world including 2 years in Mexico City. He retired from Armco and took a job as Sr. Vice President for Morgan Construction in Worcester, MA then later became President of Morgan Pomini in Pittsburgh, PA. He fulfilled a dream to retire early and return to Mexico. He happily lived there for 17 years only returning to Middletown 3 years ago. He loved travel, golf, gardening and woodworking.
Friends may call Saturday February 17, 2018 at the Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd Middletown, OH from 10am until 12pm. A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday February 17 at 12:30 pm Holy Trinity Church 201 Clark St, Middletown.
