Richard W. White, 71, of Trenton, Ohio, died on Wednesday, August 27, 2003, at Sycamore Hospital. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on February 11, 1932 to Walter Foster and Mollie Frances (Tyler) White.
Mr. White worked as an electrician for the Local Union #648 for 25 years, retiring in 1972. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a life member of both the Veteran´s of Foreign Wars Post 7670, and Disabled American Veterans #131, and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #501, the American Legion Post 218, the Elks Lodge #257, and Eagles Aerie #528.
Richard is survived by his wife Anna (Stahl) White of Trenton; two daughters, Geri Ann South of Xenia, and Polly Ann Marsh of Middletown; four sons, Richard G. (Rebecca) White of Little Rock, AR, Dave Lee (Kimberly) White of Trenton, Joseph Tyler White of Middletown, and Christopher Ray (Shawna) White of Hamilton; one sister, Geraldine Mynier; 16 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Estel and Raymond White.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, with Father George Klein as celebrant. Visitation will be Saturday, prior to the mass from 9:30-10:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, with military honors provided by American Legion Post 218 Honor Guard.
