Ricky L. Gentry Jr.

Ricky L. Gentry Jr., 21, of Middletown, died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at University of Kentucky Medical Center. Ricky was the victim of an auto accident in which he was not at fault. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 21, 1982 to parents Rick and Donna (Cox) Gentry Sr..

Ricky was a graduate of Middletown High School class of 2001 and was currently attending Miami University Middletown. He was working as a lifeguard at Kings Island. Ricky was an avid rollerblader and aggressive skating, and served on the committee for the Skate Park at Smith Park. He was a member of a local car club.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is survived by one sister, Sandy (Ron) Schneider of Liberty Township, OH; two nieces, Lindsay Snook and Olivia Snook; a nephew, Nicholas Snook; numerous aunts & uncles; his girlfriend, Jacqui Lageson of Middletown; best friend, Ryan Blanton; as well as many other friends; and his pet cat, Snowball.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Travis L. Gentry; grandparents, Faye & Ray Gentry, and James & Ruby Cox; and uncles, Donnie Gentry and Paul Fields.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 19, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita, with Reverend Rodney Williams and Reverend Jackie Ward officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 3-6 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
