Rita E. Ryan

Rita E. Ryan, 95, of Middletown, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Spring Hills Middletown. She was born in Bellevue, Kentucky on February 16, 1921 to parents Joseph and Mary (Buelte) Schaiper.

Rita had worked as a sales clerk at Central Store for 17 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Mrs. Ryan is survived by her sons, Robert J. (Sharon) Ryan & Thomas A. (Karen) Ryan; daughter, Judy (Don) Dixon; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Ryan; parents; siblings, Harry Schaiper, Catherine Barth, Dorothy Payne, Joseph Schaiper, Shirley Jones & Richard Shaiper; grandson, Eric Ryan; and great granddaughter, Samantha Lairson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 at 12:30 pm at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
