Rita Gough

Rita Gough, 77, of Middletown, died Sunday, August 28, 2016, at home. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on March 18, 1939 to parents Charles and Catherine (Balaz) Steele.

Rita was a member of Wildwood Golf Club for 35 years. She was an avid bowler for 40 years, loved casinos, the horse track, and traveling especially Las Vegas, and lived a full life.

Mrs. Gough is survived by her husband, Tim Gough; children, Beth Ann (Ed Fening) Hurst, Mike (Patty) Gough, Kathleen "Nan" (Rick Abbott) Gough, Kevin (Lori) Gough, Chris (Connie) Gough; sister, Barbara Kay (Paul) Beatty Robbins; grandchildren, Lauren, Cameron (Reena), Jessica, Michael (Sara), Kyle (Megan), Alex, Sami, Sean, Cori, & Colby (Christina); and several great grandchildren.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Middletown including Barbara, Sara, and Bonnie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Middletown.
