Robert Allen Heller Jr.

Robert Allen “Sleez” Heller, Jr., 76, of Middletown, died Friday, August 24, 2018, at home. He was born in Middletown on July 25, 1942 to parents Robert Allen Sr. and Madeline "Dottie" (Louis) Heller.

Sleez worked as a machine operator for General Motors Harrison Radiator for 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was a proud member of A.A. and was a founding member and president of Traditions Motorcycle Club. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Heller is survived by his wife, Regina Heller; sons, Garret Heller & Anthony (Nellie) Heller; daughters, Stephanie (Bill) Heller-Cencebaugh & Celesta (Mike) Dickerson; step son, Jacob Volk; dear friend, Jeff Morris; step brother, Steve DeJarnette grandchildren, Michelle Poplin, T.J. (Holly) Heller, Jonathan Landers, Beth Poplin, Gabrielle Dickerson, Jayden Volk & Karmin Volk; great grandchildren, Heidi, Lu Anne, Dennis & Joey; and numerous family & friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen Heller Sr.; mother, Madeline "Dottie" DeJarnette; step father, Ralph DeJarnette; infant son, Timothy Heller; and infant granddaughter, Maggie West.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish-St. John’s Church at 11:30 am with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
