Robert C. Thompson Sr.

Robert C. Thompson, Sr., 65, of Middletown, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on May 5, 1955.

Robert retired from Advanced Auto Parts in 2018. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Peggy (Robinson) Thompson; sons, Robert C. (Elizabeth) Thompson, Jr. & Matthew (Jennifer) Thompson; mother and stepfather Elizabeth and Ray Stillwell; sister, Diane (Durwood) Deaver; and eight grandchildren, Poseidon, Patricia, Kaylie, Savannah, Josie, Connor, Ethan & Fox.

He was preceded in death by his father, Colonel W. Thompson.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Masks are required for all attending and social distancing will be observed.
