Robert E. Robillard, 87, of Waynesville, formerly of Middletown, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Lisbon, New York on October 9, 1920 to parents Ezra Robert and Cordelia (Cummings) Robillard.
Robert worked as a welder for Armco Steel Corp., retiring in 1983 after 32 years. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II and was a charter member of DAV Chapter #131.
Mr. Robillard is survived by two sons, Randy M. (Cathie) Robillard and Rick L. Robillard and Ken Spurling; half-brother, George (Janice) Robillard; two sisters-in-law, Betty Selby and Mickie Selby; seven grandchildren, Abigail, Justin, Andy, Robert, Kevin, and Mary Robillard, and Betsey (Wayne) Click; a special great granddaughter, Rylee Click and another great grandchild to be born in December; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane (Selby) Robillard in 1999; and his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Father Dan Meyer officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
