Robert Evans White

Robert Evans White, 88, of Franklin, died Friday, July 30, 2010, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born in Franklin Township, Ohio on January 13, 1922 to parents Jonathan and Bertha (Poffenbarger) White.

Robert served his country in the United States Navy where he served aboard the USS Cabot during WWII. Mr. White was a retired self employed truck driver.

Mr. White is survived by his wife, Anne (Sixt) White; a son Robert L. (Sandy) White and grandchildren Robby White, Rosanna White, George Schraffenberger and Kevin Schraffenberger; great grandchild, Owen Schraffenberger.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard and Franklin White

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service, all at Zion Lutheran Church, 10 North Breiel Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Dr. David E. Moreland officiating. Interment will be private at North Monroe Cemetery.
