Robert J. Bowman “Bob” (BoBo), 53 of Middletown passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 11, 2006. He was born May 6, 1952 to Robert A. and Marjorie (Gardner) Bowman.
He was a 1970 Graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School, where he lettered in football and baseball. Bob was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was employed by AK Steel for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns. Bob was a free-spirited man with a big heart and a generous soul. He was blessed with many good friends and will be sadly missed.
Bob was preceeded in death by his brother Dennis Bowman in 1972; his father Robert A. Bowman in 1996 and mother Marjorie A. (Gardner) Bowman in 2001. He is survived by sisters: Judith Chapman of Batavia, Sharon (Daniel) Corbett of Trenton; brothers, Gary (Diane) Bowman, and Christopher (Rita) Bowman of Middletown; Son: Bryan ( Mary) Bowman, numerous aunts and uncles; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews, and many good friends including: Mike Weiser, Brenda Weiser, Wade and Gaye Prichard, Eddie Melton and special next-door neighboor Rudy.
At Bob’s request, there will be no visitation. Private burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
