Robert J. Fultz, 81, of Middletown, died Friday, August 28, 2015, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown on December 9, 1933 to parents Osie and Mary (Field) Fultz.
Robert worked for Sears-Roebuck in appliance sales for 43 years, retiring in 1991. He was a veteran of the United States Army and member of the Middletown Sportsmen's Club. Robert was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and bowling. He also loved to garden and spend time in the yard.
Mr. Fultz is survived by his wife, Shirley (Wood) Fultz; son, Robert (Suellen) Fultz; daughter, Deborah A. (Jay) Mitchell; sisters, Loretta (Louie) Kramer & Virgie Brisben; and grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth (Samuel) Eckhart, Rebecca Fultz, Zachariah Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell & Noah Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kermit Fultz; and sisters, Dorothy Morrison & Myra Andersen.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend John Wagner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
