Robert J. Krause

Robert J. "Bob" Krause, 68, of Middletown, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on December 6, 1944 to parents Arno K. Jr. and Mary (Chupka) Krause.

Bob graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School and served his country in the United States Army. He worked in maintenance for Altivity Packaging for 18 years, retiring in 2008 and also worked as an electrician with Otto Long Electric for 25 years. He loved gardening, spending time outdoors & going to the shooting range. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, the V.F.W. #3809 and Eagles Aerie 528.

Mr. Krause is survived by his wife, Glenda (Fugett) Krause; brother, Frederick (Diana) Krause; sister, Eleanor Mary Bishop; special sister-in-law, Judy (Bud) Reedy; nieces, Mary S. Bishop, Caroline (Dwayne) Robinson & Joan (Mark) Harris; and nephews, Thomas A. Bishop & Frederick A. Krause.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Arno Krause.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 9:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
