Robert Ray Long

Long, Robert (Bob) R. 77, of Franklin Township died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Dayton V.A. Hospital. He was born in Molus, Kentucky on October 24, 1934 to parents Lum and Sara (Saylor) Long. He was the former owner of GSL Auto Sales in Lynchburg, Ohio and Long Implement in Blanchester, Ohio. Bob served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Jefferson Lodge #90 F. & A.M. Mr. Long is survived by his wife, Greta S. Phipps (Olinger) Long; sons, Darryl (Lucille) Long, David Long, Jamie Long, Derick Long; daughters, Virginia (Angelo) Bellizzi, Bobbie Jean Long, Lori (David Kellum) Long; step son, Peter (Louann) Kelley, step-daughters; Misty Phipps Ash and Dawn Phipps (James) Chandler, brothers; Jack (Norma) Long, Walter (Paula) Long, Lanny (Dawn) Marsh,
Rodney ( Chris) Marsh; Sisters, Sonja Erickson, Judy (Warren) Mills; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Peggy Long.Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Mike Polston officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Jefferson Lodge services at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Clinton County Memorial Gardens.
