Robert Scott Charles

Robert Scott Charles, known as "Scott" to his family & friends, was called home on Friday, December 18, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on December 6, 1965 to his loving parents Robert L. and Judy Ann (McCutcheon) Charles. He was the oldest of three children, followed by his brother, Chris and sister, Mary-Margaret.

Scott worked as an electrician with IBEW Local 648. Family & friends will remember Scott fondly for his heart of gold and his willingness to always help anyone in need. He graduated from Preble Shawnee, where he met and then married his high-school sweetheart, Tammy (Meinhardt). He immediately joined the Army and served on the Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. Together he & Tammy had four children, Brittany, James, Megan & Kiley. He also had four grandchildren whom he loved very much, Patrick, Stacy, Bo & Scarlett. He may be gone, but he lives on in the hearts of so many and we will celebrate Scott's life.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Fort Program, Attn: Chief Bucheit, 331 South Front Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
