Robert Tunnell

Robert Tunnell, 80, of Monroe, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. He was born in Elk City, Oklahoma on February 16, 1932 to parents Floyd and Mabel (Perry) Tunnell.
Robert served his country in the United States Navy and was a self-employed pilot and flight engineer.
Mr. Tunnell is survived by his son, Jeff Tunnell, Los Angeles, California; daughter, Julie Tunnell, Oakland, California; brother, Paul (Beverly) Tunnell, Middletown, Ohio and sister, Carolyn (Ron) Patty, Anderson, Indiana.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Tunnell.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery Chapel, 200 College Drive, Anderson, Indiana 46012. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00-1:00PM at the chapel. Inurnment will follow the service at Maplewood Cemetery.
