Robin Vorhis Richardson

Robin Vorhis Richardson, 91, of Monroe, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at her residence. She was born in Hamilton, on March 8, 1915 to parents W.D. and Edna (Palmer) Vorhis.

Mrs. Richardson was a college graduate, attending both Miami Jacobs College and Denison University. She was a member of the Middletown Fine Arts Center, Middletown Garden Club, Middletown Current Events Club, and Browns Run Country Club.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her daughter, Patricia Jackson of Carson, WA; grandson, Justin (Dawn) Ritter of Port Washington, WI; great grandchildren, Sydney Ritter, Madeline Ritter, and Finnegan Ritter; son-in-law, William C. Jackson of Middletown and Crawfordville, FL; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Vorhis of Tallahasee, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Richardson in 1998; an infant daughter; parents; sisters, Barbara Jackson and Margery Vorhis; and twin brother, Robert Palmer Vorhis.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 19, 2006 at 1:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 120 S. Broad St., Middletown, with Reverend David Chivington officiating.
