Roger H. Davey

Roger H. Davey, 73, of Middletown, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at his daughter's home. He was born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on June 20, 1939 to parents Merton and Frances Davey.

Roger served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of Ancient Order of Hibernians serving as past president of the Our Lady of Knock Division and Holy Family Parish.

Mr. Davey is survived by his son, Chris (Christine) Davey and daughter, Lynne (Roland) Hamilton and grandchildren, Danielle (James) Bunch, Roland (Catherine) Hamilton II, MacKenzie, Connor and Cooper Hamilton, Jevon, Sequoia, Aiden, Canyon and Aurora Davey; great grandchildren, Bracken and Roland Hamilton III, Victoria, Kadin and Zoey Bunch.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Donna (Emrick) Davey in 2009.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Please join the family in celebrating his life immediately following the service at Wildwood Golf Club.
