Ron Risner, 80, of Camden, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born in Burkhart, Kentucky on June 27, 1941 to parents, George and Myrtle (Craft) Risner.
Ron was a longtime employee of Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping and owned his own company, R & R Concrete. He was known for his strong work ethic and for being "generous of spirit". Ron had a '57 Chevy that was his pride and joy and he also enjoyed working in the garden and beekeeping. He was known as "Pap" to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and stayed young-at-heart by spending time with them.
Ron was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed by his wife, Peggy Risner; children, Misty (Bob) Burdge, Dean Risner & Andrea (Dewey) Bowling; sister, Faye Rudd; grandchildren, Ronny, Virginia "Gini", Tiffany & Rodney; and great grandchildren, Dasia, Nathaniel, Isaiah, Gabriel, Kaylynn, Caleb, Olivia, Madison, RJ, Bryson, Luke, Russell, Levi, Aiden, K'Leigh & RJ Dawsyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Burnice, Dave, Henrietta & Lois.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 5:00 - 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
