Ronald H. "Red" Hayes, 71, of Liberty Township, died Friday, August 1, 2008, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Brodhead, Kentucky on February 11, 1937 to parents Russell B. and Ethelene (Brock) Hayes.
Ron worked in electrical construction for Armco Steel Corp., retiring in 1990 after 35 years of service.
Mr. Hayes is survived by his brother, James (Joyce) Hayes of Monroe; sister, Beverly (Daniel) Younkins of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; nephew, Jonathan Hawk Hayes Younkins; and niece, Leslie Paige Younkins and husband Christopher Mroczka.
He was preceded in death by his parents
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Charles Denny officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery in Monroe.
