Ronald J. Gaston

Ronald J. Gaston, 63, of Hamilton, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Middletown, on July 24, 1946 to parents Frank and Daisy (Taulbee) Gaston.

Ronald served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Gaston worked at AK Steel for 30 years, retiring in Technical Repair. He also worked for Pre-Finish Metals and Barnes Aerospace. Mr. Gaston was a member of Holy Family Parish, a private pilot and a member of Flaps Flying Club.

Mr. Gaston is survived by his wife, Sharon (Henry) Gaston; two sons, Robert (Jennifer) Gaston & Peter (Angela) Gaston; grandson, Isaiah Gaston; mother; Daisy Gaston; three brothers, Frank (Janice) Gaston, Richard (Janet) Gaston & Raymond (Patricia) Gaston; two sisters, Patricia Lorenz & Geraldine Beckman; sister-in-law, Barbara Gaston and many nieces & nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Frank Gaston and brother, David Gaston.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Monsignor Paul Metzger as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with American Legion Honor Guard services.
