Rose A. Bowen, of Monroe, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Hamilton to parents, Emil and Katherine (Suchy) Pier.
Rose owned a real estate business for 22 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, a lifetime member of Soroptomist, former member of Forest Hills Country Club, and had been a Girl Scout leader.
Mrs. Bowen is survived by her daughter, Judith (Brian) Morrison; son, Cecil (Pam) Bowen; two grandsons, Adam (Patricia) Bowen and Brent (Jackie) Bowen; and five great grandchildren, McKinzie, Dylan, Taylor, Isabella, & Brody Bowen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil A. Bowen in 1999; her parents; and two sisters, Helen Quigley and Mary Hingsbergen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery in West Chester.
