Rose Ann Hurst

Rose Ann Hurst, 86, of Middletown, died Friday, October 19, 2018, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Ferdinand, Indiana on July 28, 1932 to parents Albert and Theresia (Loechte) Krampe.

Ann attended high school at the Sisters of St. Benedict at the Monastery of the Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana. She was an LPN for 8 years at Doty House, retiring in 1994. She was also a volunteer at Atrium Medical Center, Holy Family Parish and the John 23rd School Summer Bible Program.

Mrs. Hurst is survived by her husband, Arnold Hurst; son, Curt Hurst; grandchildren, Lauren (Daniel Fibiger) Hurst & Cameron (Reena Dalal) Hurst; Brother, Gerald (Rita) Krampe; and Sisters, Sylvia Spencer & Marie Daunhauer.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Bernard Krampe, Francille Oser & Albert Lee "Sonny" Krampe.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. John's Catholic Church, 1405 1st Ave., Middletown, with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm- Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
