Rosemary Lyons

Rosemary Lyons, 75, of Middletown, died on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties surrounded by her family. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 16, 1937 to parents Albert R. and Rose (Youngworth) Carter. Rosemary received her R. N. of Nursing at Mercy School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. Rosemary moved to Middletown in 1974 from Columbus, Indiana. She was a volunteer at Holy Family Parish and the Middletown Art Center and a member of Holy Family Parish. Rosemary is survived by her husband Joseph F. Lyons; three daughters: Maureen (Mark) Lehman, Monica (Robert) Cummins, Therese Lyons; two sons: Joseph (Angela) Lyons, Duffey Lyons; two sisters: Dorothy Duffy, Janet Bergmann; six grandsons, Bart, Matt, Thomas & Daniel Lehman and Will & Jon Cummins. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Bridgid Lyons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark Street, Middletown, OH 45042 or Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh, PA, 2821 Sarah Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 or the charity of the donor's choice.
