Roxie B. Propps

Roxie Propps, 77, of Monroe, died Thursday, September 9, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Walnut, Iowa on February 22, 1933 to parents Gale and Naomi (Leonard) Evans.

Roxie worked as a sales clerk for Elder-Beerman.

Mrs. Propps is survived by her three daughters, Pam (Mike) Tom, Nancy Smith and Roberta (Dennis) Baker; brother, Dave Gale Evans; special friend, Barb Bailey; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Hank Propps in 1978; son, Billy Propps; parents; brother, Steve Evans; and sisters, Roberta Evans, Mildred Evans, Delores Newman and Sharon Sparks.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Dr. Tim Waugh officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
