Ruby Frances (Fink) Billett, 96, passed away Monday, May 3, 2004 at the Friendly Nursing Home in Germantown. She was born in Franklin, Ohio on April 30, 1908. She lived in the Franklin area all of her life.
Mrs. Billett graduated as a registered nurse from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Hamilton in 1928. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church and a member of the church’s Ladies’ Society.
Preceding her in death was her husband; Paul E. Billett in 1988; her parents, Frank and Edna (Buehner) Fink; two sisters, Kathryn Schneider and Prudence Nixon; two brothers, Charles and Clem Fink, two nephews Terry Fink and William Nixon and a niece Betty Cornwell.
Mrs. Billett is survived by nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Dale Billett of Middletown and good friends Jane Shepherd and Jean Fink.
The family expresses thanks to the Friendly Nursing Home and Dr. Jean Murphy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 7, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish–Holy Trinity Church with Father George Klein as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9-10 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Poasttown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
