Ruby L. Wilson

Ruby L. Wilson, 89, of Middletown, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Bethany, Ohio on May 30, 1925 to parents Elmer and Laura (Reece) Edwards.

Ruby was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughters, Nancy Hancock & Melody Hollon; brother, William Edwards; grandchildren, Mindy Booth, Shelly (Jason) Deaton & Dustin (Tracy Short) Pence; great grandchildren, Brady, Caden, Jackson, Parker, Trevor & Kloie; sister-in-law, Evelyn Edwards; lifelong friend, Velma Griffith; as well as many other loving family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy N. Wilson; parents; and son-in-law, David Hollon.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nursing and rehab staff at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village and the aides from Blackstone Home Healthcare.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
