Ruth Angela Sallie, 72, died Tuesday at her residence.
Mrs. Sallie was lifelong member of Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church. She worked for the Middletown School System for 37 years, retiring in 1998. She was a volunteer at the dialysis center at Miami Valley Hospital and a den mother for the cub scouts.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Sallie on January 28, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lafayette and Margaret (Brannon) Curtis and brother-in-law Donald Fenton.
She is survived by son James C. Sallie; daughters Deborah A. (Craig) Monroe and Susan M. (Steven) Moon; brother Robert (Brenda) Curtis; sister Mary C. Fenton; grandchildren Jason (Shannon) Jett and Jaimie (Jason) Williams; great grandchildren Tyler Jett and Braden Williams; and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including special nephew David Fenton and cherished niece Donna Goodwin.
Monsignor Paul Metzger will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
