Ruth B. Madaffari

Ruth B. Madaffari, 90, of Monroe, died Friday, October 2, 2015, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on September 19, 1925 to parents Luther and Cynthia (Sargent) Leslie.

Ruth had worked as the office manager for the Church of the Ascension for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Mrs. Madaffari is survived by her sons, Tom (Peggy) Gray, Joe (Molly) Madaffari & Steve (Judy) Madaffari; grandchildren, Randy Gray, Mike Gray & Sheila (Chris) Connely; and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" G. Madaffari; parents; and brother, Carl Leslie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe with Father Stephen Lattner, OSB as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at church. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
