Ruth J. Honaker

Ruth J. Honaker, 86, of Monroe, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Winchester, Kentucky on December 2, 1927 to parents Leoff and Alice (Eades) Curtis.Ruth earned her bachelor's degree in education and was a teacher with Middletown City Schools for 32 years. She had been a member of Franklin First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Honaker is survived by her husband, John Honaker; Daughter, Brenda (Jeffrey Mironov) Charles; Brothers, O.B. Curtis & Lee Curtis; Sisters, Frances Elliot & Opal Hollar and grandchildren: Traci Y. Charles; Robin Charles; great grandchildren, Abella Jean Charles and Neil French Comstock. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and Son, Robert French Charles. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon.Memorial donations may be made to Franklin First United Methodist Church, 303 South Main Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
