Ruth M. Biedenbender

Ruth Marie Biedenbender, 94, of Middletown, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Garden Manor Retirement Village where she had resided for several years. She was born in Dayton on September 2, 1920 to parents Henry and Anna Marie (Ernst) Biedenbender.

Ruth was a graduate of Middletown High School and attended Miami University. After school she moved out to California for a few years, then returned to Middletown and made her home here. She enjoyed music, played piano and loved to join in sing-along activities. She also loved to tell jokes and had a joke for every occasion.

Miss Biedenbender is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Biedenbender and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Raymond F. Biedenbender, Richard E. Biedenbender & Harry Biedenbender.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
