Ryan Thomas Cokeley

Ryan Thomas Cokeley, 29, of New Lebanon, Ohio, entered eternal peace on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born on February 13, 1992, in Dayton, to parents Charles and Victoria Cokeley. He grew up playing soccer and baseball, hanging out with his friends, and became quite the prankster to his mom and sister. His family recalls the times in his childhood where he was always raiding the fridge or trying to scare people. Ryan was extremely charismatic and could negotiate with the best of them. Later as a teenager, he discovered his favorite hobby of Bull Riding, where he placed 1st in several events. He attended Great Oaks Career Campus and graduated in 2010 at the top of his class. He obtained certifications in welding, heavy machinery mechanics, and auto body repair and was working for Company Wrench in Monroe.

Ryan will forever be remembered and missed by his parents, Charles & Vicki; four daughters, Everlee, Naomie, Lainey & Haylee; his sister, Layna Cokeley; uncles who were like brothers, Eric Tipton, Travis Tipton & Josh Tipton; nephews, Kevin & Trace; grandparents, Dave & Carol Tipton and Linda Cokeley; as well as numerous other family members & friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Brian Morris officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank all those who have reached out and showed up to pay respect to our son, Ryan. “It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.”
