Sabina J. Hall, 94, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters, on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
Sabina was born Sept 30, 1921 in Salza Irpina, Italy to Antonio & Eva (Galasso) DeBiasi. She came to this country on Jan 21, 1930 and became a US citizen Aug 15, 1942. Sabina graduated in 1941 from St. John's High School and also attended Middletown Business College. She worked at W.T. Grant's in the office until her marriage to William F. Hall on February 26, 1949. Sabina was a member of Holy Family Parish St. John's Chapel. She loved shopping, music, dancing & traveling.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughters, Mary Lee Bukosky of Middletown, Anna (David) Alexander of Bowling Green, KY and Caroline (Brian) Poedtke of West Chester; grandchildren, Tom (Alyxe) Alexander, Dr. Katie Alexander, Laura Bukosky and Traci Stankiewicz, Alex Poedtke and Chris Poedtke; great grandchildren, Miles Alexander, Lincoln Alexander and Noah Stankiewicz and Alex and Lexi; her brother, Fred (Flavia) DeBiasi; sister-in-law, Phyllis DeBiasi-Snyder; brother-in-law, Dino Massimo; many nieces & nephews; and her "Little Dog", Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William F. Hall; sister, Mary Massimo; brother, Tony DeBiasi and infant brother, Salvatore DeBiasi.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille and Father Ed Pratt as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
