Scott D. Bruggeman, 45, of Middletown, died Monday, January 18, 2016, at home. He was born in Middletown on May 29, 1970 to parents David and Ginger (Lolli) Bruggeman.
Scott had worked with the Middletown Fire Department for 20 years, retiring in 2015. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp during Desert Shield/Storm.
Scott is survived by his parents, Dave & Ginger Bruggeman; daughter, Megan Fugate; granddaughters, Juliana & Rylynne; brother, Jim (Becky Keith) Bruggeman; nephews, Tim & Nick Bruggeman; grandparents, Phyllis Lolli and Jack & Renie Bruggeman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant and Chaplain Clark Helvey. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
