Seldon O. "Johnny" Henry, 77, of Trenton, died Friday, July 8, 2011, at Hospice of Hamilton. Born February 20, 1934 in Dearborn, Michigan to parents Ollie F. and Ollie K. (Lewis) Henry.
Mr. Henry worked at Armco Steel for 37 years, retiring as a supervisor in East Processing. He was a member of the Methodist Church in West Liberty, Kentucky, American Legion Post 218. life member of VFW Post 3809, Moose Lodge 501, and 12 year member and coach in the Trenton Knothole Association and a member of Road Customs Auto Club.
Seldon is survived by his wife, Mary E. Henry; sons, John Henry and Bryan (Angie) Henry; daughter, Kathryn (Greg) Swinney; grandchildren, Steven Swinney, Charles Henry, Eleanor Henry, Tatum Henry and Dalton Henry; brothers-in-law, Winton (Barb) McIntosh, Rex (Beverly) McIntosh and Mitchell (Judy) McIntosh; and sisters-in-law, Alma Eby and Beverly Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Wayne McIntosh; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen McIntosh.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Terry Ball officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday July 12, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
