Shirley A. Schwab

Shirley Ann Schwab, 75, of Middletown, died Friday, September 30, 2016, with family by her side. She was born in Hamilton on November 15, 1940 to parents John and Rose (Rossi) Schwab.

Shirley was a dedicated librarian for Middletown Public Library and retired after 40 years of service. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Miss Schwab is survived by her brothers, John "Poodle" (Carlyne) Schwab, Bill (Jean) Schwab, Freddie (Laura) Schwab, Tommy (Pat) Schwab & Donald (Sharion) Schwab; sisters, Beverly (Dan) Combs & Patricia (Tom) Adams; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob Schwab & Michael Schwab; and nephews, John Schwab IV & Thomas Adams Jr.

Special thanks for the additional loving care of Shirley from her brother John, nieces Lisa & Angela over the past 4 years and niece Heather the past year.

Private services were held by the family with interment at Woodside Cemetery.
