Shirley Ann Fultz, 81, of Middletown, died Monday, February 6, 2017, at Cape May Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown on June 17, 1935 to parents Lawrence Dewey "Duke" and Lulu (Woodward) Wood.
Shirley was manager of the Aeronca Credit Union for 20 years, then retired as manager from Daymon/River Valley Federal Credit Union in 1996. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Shirley was an avid bowler at Sports Bowl where she was City Champ and had several 300 games. She loved traveling to Florida and South Carolina, enjoyed dancing, the beach and her Cincinnati Reds.
Mrs. Fultz is survived by her son, Robert (Suellen) Fultz; daughter, Deborah (Jay) Mitchell; sister, Dolly Jean (Lloyd "Lefty") Pitman; five grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth (Samuel) Eckhart, Rebecca Fultz, Zachariah Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell & Noah Mitchell; and great granddaughter, Lucy Mae Eckhart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fultz in 2015; parents; and siblings, Eleanor Hasselbach, Lawrence Wood, Arthur Wood, Marylou Wright & Virginia Linville.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, with Pastor Dean Feldmeyer officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
